Carlos is a bocce player who has already had his moment of glory. Now he is in a bad patch: he has been separated for a couple of years, he lives in the club´s pension, his relationship with this teenage son is increasingly distant and he has been playing for a while due to a knee injury.

His tribute tournament is approaching. Unlike other sports, in Bocce the tributes are made while still alive and this is the great opportunity that Carlos has to get osut of the state in which he is. He will play that tournament as a duo with his brother Beto, with whom he has a love-hate relationship. Then, he will try to make everything fall into place again by, doing what he does best throwing bowls through the air.
